I just feel bad not being able to update my own website! I joined an SEO contest called Isulong SEOph where you have to rank number 1 for the keywords Isulong SEOph. So far, before Google has been dancing 2 days ago, the highest I got was number 5. And Google has been dancing recently throwing websites all over page 1 and has been moving my site down, and eventually even being pushed back to page 2. Worst is I can’t even visit my own website. I get connection timeouts.
Since a requirement of this contest is to rank high on google.com.ph, I move my contest entry to a hosting company in the Philippines to get an IP address based in the Philippines. And for some reason, I cannot visit it for the past two days when connecting from my ISP at home. I feel some firewall is blocking it. After doing a traceroute from my connection going to my hosting account, it passes hopone.net in the US, then goes to flagtel.com in England, then to net.ph in the Philippines before getting to my hosting account also in the Philippines. And for some reason, right after net.ph, I can no longer pass through. I do not know who’s firewall is causing this, from net.ph or on dagupan.com, whoever is causing it, you guys suck right now. I just find it funny that I, the owner of my own hosting account cannot access it while the rest of the world can.
