Kevlar, a brand of fiber by DuPont is made from aramid that can have a strength to weight ratio 4 times higher than steel. This makes Kevlar extremely strong and fire resistant but light enough to wear like plain clothing. This has been used for many application for industrial safety, sports safety and safety in warfare.

University of Delaware chemical engineer Norman Wagner develops a liquid chemical that includes many tiny particles of glass or ceramics that hardens with agitation and struck with high physical impact. With liquid, mixed with Kevlar can improve the performance of Kevlar.
