Monitoring Software and Business Productivity

Business, Careers, Technology

I used to work in a company where all employees believed that the company was monitoring everything all employees were doing. And many of the employees did not like it, as they said it was a privacy issue. But come to think of it, you are not at home and are at work. You go to work to mainly work, and that is what you are paid to do. And most of the time people that do not want to be monitored are usually the same people that are doing something else aside from work.

But yeah, you do not want to have a company that is too strict, that you feel like not checking your emails, checking your bank account balance, buying something on eBay since the auction is nearing it’s end, but without any monitoring, can be abused by many employees, especially those that work at the back of a computer.

Some employees can claim to be working a full 8 hours but are really working only 4 hours and 4 hours was spent on something else online. If you were the owner of the company, this is not good news. And to make sure the productivity of a company runs well, a monitoring software would be an ideal tool to achieve this. There are several computer monitoring software like this and one good example is SpectorSoft, a text computer monitoring software. It will record all online activity. And sometimes, just the fact that employees know they are being monitored, productivity increases right away.
