Why use pirated software? If you used pirated Microsoft Windows, you might just get a rock. I suggest buy only original Microsoft Windows software. Do not even buy OEM copies without required hardware. Since original boxed copies are only $99 per copy and do not share with others since this is piracy. Yes, Windows 1.0. Still backward compatible with DOS 2.0. Not yet Internet ready but tested with 9,600kpbs modem driver. To connect to the Internet, look for a compatible Trumpet Winsock version and you can use Gopher to visit sites for updates. Although it may be tough to get the Internet running smooth, it may be relatively easy setting up Wildcat BBS or, even Quicklink for quick dial-up peer-to-peer connections.
